DMX pleaded guilty (as if he had a choice) to numerous charges yesterday. The rapper’s legal battles have now resulted in a plea bargain on drug possession, theft and animal cruelty charges.
The AP is reporting that X pleaded guilty to one count of animal cruelty, one count of theft and one count of felony possession of marijuana and a narcotic drug each. A sentencing hearing for Jan. 30 has been set, during which additional charges will be dismissed.
Oh and get this, “authorities allege that the troubled rapper provided a fake name and Social Security number while being treated at a Scottsdale hospital, the source of the felony charges of theft.”
Soooo…..ummmm…..no one’s gonna say anything about the identity theft that X was trying to pull off too huh? Well okay then, neither will I!
