Well, the details are still a bit fuzzy, but that is indeed what is being reported, smh! From what I’ve gathered, Chris Brown was arrested earlier tonight for alleged assault. According to police, Brown and an unidentified woman were driving when an argument ensued. The car pulled over into a parking lot, and quickly became violent. Bt the time the police arrived on the scene, Brown had already fled and the woman had visible injuries and identified him as the attacker. After several hours, a missing Chris Brown turned himself over to the LAPD where he was formerly charged and placed on $50,000 bail. He later posted bail and was released. The LAPD has not confirmed that the victim was Rihanna, but many outside sources have and the abrupt cancellation of her Grammy performance is a sure indication that she is.
What ignited the argument is another whirlwind of rumors. Some are claiming that it started when the two attended an industry party earlier that night and Rihanna was upset because he was being overly flirtatious. Others are reporting that Brown was upset because he contracted herpes from the singer (raises eyebrows), and so on and so on.
This is why I don’t like to post stories that are still in their infancy and are wide open to speculation. If this is true however, I just lost all respect for Chris Breezy. There is nothing breezy about being up on your woman! NOTHING! And until I have clarified exactly what went down, I will not be chewing any Doublemint gum either…it’s all about Orbit in the interim!
UPDATE: MTO is reporting that Rihanna will not be filing criminal charges against Brown for assault, and she is no longer assisting the police in the investigation. Sigh, this sounds like a Lifetime movie in the making.
UPDATE: Rihanna (Robyn Rihanna Fenty) has been CONFIRMED as the victim in the alleged attack, and it also alleged that the assault took place with a deadly weapon. Jesus take the wheel!
UPDATE: There was no weapon involved according to police. Brown is set to appear in court in March, if convicted, he faces up to 9 years in prison, smh! It’s all just so sad.

Poor thing, she’s another stereotypical victim. Droppin charges after gettin man handled and beaten probly talkin bout “but I love him”… SMH Fuck that any man who puts his hands on a woman and leaves visible marks like that needs to learn his lesson or else he will continue on and may repeat!!
