The rustling of divorce papers when you’re expecting a baby - no bueno!
Rumors have been swirling for months that the Milkshake singer and her rap icon husband were on the verge of calling it quits. Then, pregnancy rumors and a subsequent confirmation seemed to indicate that the power couple were doing well and planning for their future. In fact, last February Nas glowed about the news that his wife was expecting, “Yeah, man, I find out what it’s gonna be next week, so I’m happy,” he gushed to MTV.
Today however, VIBE Magazine reported that Nas and Kelis are headed for a divorce. “I can confirm that she has filed for divorce,” a spokesperson for Kelis told VIBE. “We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time.” The couple met in 2002 and married in the summer of 2003.
Le sigh…I’m still crossing my fingers that they can come to some kind of resolution because if Nas records a whole break-up album with autotune, I’m done.

So the assclown union ended up cutting their vacay in Mexico short after all (damn you Swine Flu, we had a plan!) and returned to the States yesterday, and paps were on hand to catch the tomfoolery.

According to TMZ, the world’s fastest man suffered mild injuries yesterday after crashing his BMW on a highway in Jamrock. Bolt and a female passenger were taken to a hospital in the St. Catherine Parish after he lost control of his car while he was allegedly speeding on a rain-slicked highway, smh! Officials say Bolt who’s due to compete in a 150m race in England in a few weeks is undergoing tests to see if he’ll be healthy enough to compete.
Lawd, Jamaicans drive the way they act - straight reckless! Look-a-here Usain, you need to get better and represent us at those games in England. I just posted Elephant Man’s video and we really need to redeem ourselves. We can’t let these people think that that’s all we have to offer….like really!
