A local high school has cancelled the prom because a gay senior wanted to bring her girlfriend. In 2010…really? It is my solemn belief that prom night is the one night everyone should be allowed to partake in ho shit no matter what color, creed or sexual orientation. The ACLU has since filed a federal lawsuit against the school board on the senior’s behalf.

This is no surprise lol. It’s the south… unless you’re in Atlanta, [i don't consider anything below orlando part of the southern area lol] they’re not lettin anything away from their “norm” go down. Southern states are afraid of change, always have been. This is why they’re behind when it comes to technology and sorry to say, speech. lol no offense to anybody who is from the south outside the Atlanta area. That is just how it is… they are afraid of what’s different as where we embrace diversity in the North, and out west. They’re like the old lady who thinks cell phones are the devil [in which she may be right cause i think im addicted lol]. This story shouldn’t come as a shock lol this is the norm in the south along with interracial couples… they’d rather see u marry ur dad’s best friend. lol
