Sorry for the absence for the past two days, we were having some technical issues, but I’m back and bringing you eargasmic music to ease you into Thursday. Eddie Wakes does a beauuuuutiful rendition of Nat King Cole’s Beggar for the Blues and doesn’t disappoint with the equally awesome visuals either.

Janelle shows off her puuuuurdy face in this new Sinead O’Connor-esque video. Her album “The ArchAndroid” is in stores now.

Remember that now infamous pictureof Kanye and company at Paris Fashion Week? Well, Taz Arnold was the dude in the leopard tights (#thuglife). Then after reading this very interesting interview with him over on Complex, I was intrigued. He’s a special individual. As it turns out, our tights ninja and his T$A label are embarking on a new shoe venture. Here’s a sneak peek at the commercial. I wonder how long it’ll be before the hipsters in Brooklyn are rocking this…..

I’ve quickly becoming a hug fan of this guy, his music is awesome. And call me crazy, but I think I might actually prefer this to The Riot Song.

Last night, I had the pleasure of being there as the distant cousins (just saying, y’all know Bob was a rolling stone) debuted new joints from their Distant Relatives album at the Highline Ballroom, and I have to say that that was honestly one of the best shows I’ve attended in a long time. The energy in that place was exhilarating.  Up top, they perform one of my favorite cuts off the LP and hit the jump for another.
