Kid Brings Weed Laced Fruity Pebbles to School

Author: Likkle Miss  //  Category: Le sigh..., Looseneck News

Gone are the days when children brought jelly beans and fruit roll-ups to school to share with their peers. Parents, cooties should no longer be your biggest concern - heroin and herpes are.

Although, in the kid’s defense, nothing cures the munchies like a grandiose bowl of cereal, he was just meshing the two together. Applaud him props for his forward thinking and resourcefulness.

Pardon the lateness in posting this, but just in case you missed it, here’s the remix of Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie’s We Are the World remix for Haitian Relief which premiered during the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics last night. The video looks and sounds like the choir in Sister Act 2 before Whoopi made them get their shit together.

What to Expect from Taylor Swift’s Greeting Cards

Author: Likkle Miss  //  Category: Le sigh..., Looseneck News

Yes, it’s a slow news day for fuckery. I wish Snooki would pop up at a party, twerkin’ that thing and backflipping for the camera lights, but alas, imitation Reverend Run(esque) greeting cards by America’s pity princess will have to suffice.

(AP) — A cat sits in a dish labeled “Dog.” The words next to this photo say: “Rebellion is What You Make It.” That’s just one of several cards created by Taylor Swift for American Greetings. There’s a sneak peek of Swift’s cards on Us magazine’s Web site. Other cards are for birthdays or to express love. Taylor Swift also is creating stationery, gift wrap and more. US says the first of Swift’s American Greetings line will be in stores in a few weeks.

‘Pants on the Ground’ Stolen?

Author: Likkle Miss  //  Category: Le sigh..., Looseneck News

Want to know how I started my Tuesday? With banging on my apartment door from my upstairs neighbor informing me that there’s been a carbon monoxide leak in the building and we need to evacuate. Picture it: me, head wrapped (don’t judge me), pajama pants, flip-flops and macbook under arm, standing cluelessly outside in the cold with the NYPD and FDNY. I thought that would be the end of my troubles for the day, but it wasn’t. Now I hear that Pants on the Ground might not be the genius of my muse, General Larry Platt. Le sigh.

The Green Brothers of Highland Park, Michigan are claiming that Platt’s song (and dance) which has become a viral phenomenon. The brothers wrote to MyFox Detroit that the similarities between Platt’s song and their 1996 recording “Back Pockets on the Floor” are more than coincidence, and they want the world to see their version.

Coincidence?  Rip off? You decide.

Teddy Pendergrass, Another Legend Gone

Author: Likkle Miss  //  Category: Le sigh..., Looseneck News

Teddy Pendergrass, who became R&B’s reigning sex symbol in the 1970s and ’80s with his forceful, masculine voice and passionate love ballads and later became an inspirational figure after suffering a devastating car accident that left him paralyzed, died Wednesday at age 59.

The singer’s son, Teddy Pendergrass II, said his father died at a hospital in suburban Philadelphia. The singer underwent colon cancer surgery eight months ago and had “a difficult recovery,” his son said.

“To all his fans who loved his music, thank you,” his son said. “He will live on through his music.”

LooseNeck Video of the Day: The Electric Glide

Author: Likkle Miss  //  Category: Le sigh..., LooseNeck Vids, What Di Raas?!

First, the news that Sarah Palin will soon be tripping over words for Fox News and now this? It’s too early in the decade. Just too early. Looking like Gucci Mane’s long lost twin and wearing one of the suits Steve Harvey put in a heap to send off to Goodwill, San Diego Chargers running back Ladanian Tomlinson evidently thought the Cha Cha Slide needed a resurrection and so, he did this.

Flavor Flav Gets Romantic in Autotune

Shame on you all for not alerting me to this! How is this relationship supposed to work if I can’t count on you to keep me abreast of such fuckery?!

Despite Jay-Z’s numerous accomplishments like beating Elvis on the charts, riding on floats with the mayor of the town that he runs, bagging Beyonce, etc, he took an L with D.O.A. Why? Because autotune is not dead, not even a little. Autotune is the Chucky of the music industry. Now the cornrowed gnome of hip hop done got hold of it….
